Over the past years we've created many different styles of indoor and outdoor fireplaces.
The following before and after shots demonstrate how fabulous results can be obtained with the use of stone.
The Journey Project, UBC
Medium: Ashlar Granite Installation
Builder: Adera Construction
Project Features: Situated in the UBC Endowment Lands, this project boasts true 'West Coast spirit-designed' architecture. Hardy Island Granite stone was selected to compliment the existing design. Stillwater sculptured the stone on site, and built columns and a stone entrance sign to welcome residents.
Langara Green Project, Vancouver
Medium: Manufactured Stone Cobblestone
Builder: ECO Structures
Project Features: For this modern townhouse project, Stillwater selected Manufactured Stone, supplied by Rocky Mountain Stoneworks. The granite-colored cobblestone columns added charm and character to this project, while staying within this large residential complex's budgetary specifications.
Encore at Hillcrest Project, Surrey
Medium: Manufactured Stone Ledgestone, Splitface Block Posts
Builder: Wall Financial Group
Project Features: This considerable townhouse project took over one year to complete. The end result was a warm, charming design that featured the character of Manufactured Stone Ledgestone. Stone sill caps were also utilized, and site's entrance pillars were formed using Splitface cinder blocks with peaked caps.
Ledgestone II Project, Burnaby
Medium: Manufactured Stone Ledgestone
Builder: Adera Construction
Project Features: A design feature of this project is majestic chimneys made of Manufactured Stone Ledgestone. This job required that Stillwater employ crane lifts to create the necessary height. In addition to the chimneys, a majority of the individual units enjoy stone fireplaces.
Suter Brook Project, Port Moody
Medium: River Rock
Builder: Onni Contracting
Project Features: To provide a casual, yet refined atmosphere, the builder approached Stillwater to design River Rock walls in the lobby, and for River Rock frames for the elevators. Combined with the existing millwork, the overall effect was stunning.
Cottonwood Project, Maple Ridge
Medium: Manufactured Stone Cobblestone
Builder: Wanson United Developments
Project Features: Classic Cobblestone was used to create the desired look for this townhouse project, which includes entrance columns with stone caps and entrance signage.
